Summer Community Nights: Family Laser Tag at Nephi City Park

Summer nights are meant for getting outside, spending time together, and making memories that feel bigger than another evening at home. This summer, Elite Laser Tag is bringing a new kind of family-friendly fun to Nephi City Park with weekly Summer Community Nights.

On Wednesday nights, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5, and August 12, Elite Laser Tag will host open-play laser tag at Nephi City Park from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Families, friends, neighbors, and players of all experience levels are invited to come play, compete, laugh, and enjoy a high-energy summer activity right here in the community.

Whether you are looking for something fun to do with your kids, a way to get teenagers out of the house, or a new activity to enjoy with friends and neighbors, these community nights are designed to be simple, affordable, active, and fun.

What Are Elite Laser Tag Community Nights?

Elite Laser Tag Community Nights are open-play laser tag events held at Nephi City Park. Instead of booking a private party or organizing a full event, families and individuals can come during the scheduled community night and jump into games.

These nights are built to be easy and welcoming. You can register ahead of time at www.elitelasertag.net/book-now, or you can show up at the park and play if space is available. Bring your family, invite your friends, and come ready to move.

Each player or family group will get six games, which usually takes about an hour. Games are fast-paced, active, and built around movement, teamwork, and friendly competition.

The goal is simple: give families in Nephi and surrounding communities a fun summer night activity that feels different from the usual routine.

Dates, Time, and Location

Elite Laser Tag Summer Community Nights will be held at Nephi City Park from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the following Wednesdays:

July 15
July 22
July 29
August 5
August 12

Because these events are held in the evening, they are a great way to enjoy summer after the heat of the day begins to settle. Come after work, after dinner, or as part of a family night out.

These are community events, so players are welcome to bring friends, invite neighbors, and compete with people they know. A good laser tag match becomes even more fun when you recognize the person hiding behind the next barrier.

Pricing for Community Nights

We want these summer nights to be affordable for individuals and families.

Individual players can play six games for $10.

Families can play six games for $30 for up to six players.

Additional family members are just $5 each.

This makes community night a great option for families with multiple kids, groups of friends, or neighbors who want to come together and play.

Space is somewhat limited, so registering ahead of time is encouraged. However, players are also welcome to show up and join if space is available.

Who Can Play?

Elite Laser Tag Community Nights are designed especially for families, but they are open to a wide range of players.

Ages 5 and up can play. Younger children often enjoy joining with help from a parent, especially if they are still learning how to hold the tagger, move safely, and understand the game. Parents are welcome to assist younger players and help them have a great experience.

Teenagers love the speed and competition. Younger kids enjoy the excitement and movement. Adults often discover that this is much more fun than they expected.

One of the best parts of community night is that it gives different ages a chance to play together. Parents can team up with their kids. Siblings can compete against each other. Friends can build a team. Neighbors can settle extremely important community questions, such as who is better at taking cover and who dramatically overestimates their ability to sprint.

Not Your Everyday Laser Tag

When people hear “laser tag,” they often picture a dark indoor room, slow walking, and plastic equipment. Elite Laser Tag is different.

Our gameplay is active, mobile, and built around real movement. Players can run, take cover, communicate, and work together. The taggers are not attached to the vests, which allows players to move more freely and feel more involved in the game.

This makes Elite Laser Tag feel closer to stepping into a live-action video game than playing traditional arcade-style laser tag.

The games are exciting, but still safe and family-friendly. There is no paint, no mess, and no pain like paintball or airsoft. Players get the thrill of competition without the welts or cleanup.

That is why community nights are a great fit for families. They give kids and adults the chance to be active, compete, and have fun together in a way that feels fresh and memorable.

Why Families Will Love It

Summer can be wonderful, but it can also be hard to keep everyone entertained. By the middle of July, many families are looking for something new to do. Community nights give families a simple way to get outside and enjoy an activity that does not require a full-day commitment.

You do not need to be an expert. You do not need special equipment. You do not need a full team. Just show up ready to play.

The games are short enough to keep the energy high, but active enough that players feel like they really did something. Kids can burn off energy. Teens can compete. Parents can participate instead of just watching from the side.

And because these nights happen weekly, families can come once or make it part of their summer routine.

Bring Friends, Neighbors, and Family

Community nights are more fun when people come together. Invite cousins. Text your neighbors. Bring your friend group. Create a family rivalry. Build a parent team and see if the kids can beat you.

These events are meant to help people connect. Laser tag naturally creates moments people talk about afterward: the surprise comeback, the perfectly timed move, the player who thought they were hidden but absolutely was not, and the family member who suddenly becomes much more competitive than expected.

That is what makes community events memorable. It is not just the game. It is the shared experience.

A Great Summer Activity in Nephi

If you are looking for summer activities in Nephi, family activities at Nephi City Park, or a fun Wednesday night event for kids and teens, Elite Laser Tag Community Nights are a great option.

They are affordable, active, easy to attend, and designed for families. They also give the community something unique to enjoy together during the summer.

Instead of spending another evening inside, come to the park, bring your people, and try something different.
